Italian driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli of the "Mercedes" team has entered the history of "Formula 1".
"Report" informs that the athlete achieved this by winning the Japanese Grand Prix.
The Italian driver is currently leading the overall standings with 72 points. He is followed by his teammate George Russell with 63 points.
Antonelli has become the youngest driver to rise to the lead in the history of "Formula 1". He achieved this at the age of 19 years and 216 days.
It should be noted that the previous record belonged to Lewis Hamilton (22 years and 126 days).
