New details have emerged regarding the future career of Abdullah Zubir, who is expected to leave "Qarabagh" at the end of the season. According to Sport24.az, the 34-year-old winger has set a condition regarding a move to the Qatari club Al-Shahania.
He stated that he could agree to this transfer if the team stays in the top division.
Otherwise, Zubir will continue to wear the Qarabagh uniform until the summer of 2027.
It should be noted that Al-Shahania is currently in last place - 12th - in the Qatar Super League with 20 points. There is only one round left until the end of the championship, and Umm-Salal in 11th place also has the same number of points.
According to the regulations, the owner of the 11th place plays in the play-offs to stay in the elite division, and the 12th place goes directly to the lower league.
It should be noted that Zubir has been playing for Qarabagh since 2018.
