This was stated by Yuri Maksimov, the former head coach of "Keshla" (now "Shamakhi"), in his statement to sport24.az.
The Ukrainian specialist confirmed that he had received a number of offers from the country after leaving Azerbaijan.
The coach also touched upon the mention of his name with "Kapaz": "I can't say anything on this topic. I haven't heard such information. I have received offers from your country before. I have been approached through close friends".
It should be noted that Yuri Maksimov was the head coach of "Keshla" in the second half of the 2017/2018 season. He led the team to win the Azerbaijan Cup.
