Former head coach of the German national team, Joachim Löw, spoke about Manuel Neuer, the 39-year-old former goalkeeper of the German national team who plays for Bayern. Sport24.az reports that Löw considers Neuer the best goalkeeper of all time:
"He completely rethought the game and gave it a completely new look. Neuer has been playing in the elite for 15 years now. When you watch him in Bayern today, he stands out from everyone else with his self-confidence and charisma, both in terms of general qualities and personality."
Neuer defended the honor of the German national team from 2009-2024. He played 124 matches, conceded 118 goals and kept a "clean sheet" in 51 matches. Neuer has been playing for Bayern since 2011. Before joining the Munich club, he guarded the goal of Schalke 04, where he was a trainee.
