The "Trong Dong" stadium, to be built on the southern outskirts of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, has attracted the attention of the global sports community.
Idman.Biz reports that the arena, designed for football, aims to achieve the status of the world's largest stadium with a capacity of 135,000 spectators. The project includes a retractable roof, a moving pitch and advanced technological solutions.

Architecturally, the complex will be inspired by the Dong Son bronze drums, considered one of the main symbols of the country's ancient culture. Lacquer bird motifs will be used on the facade. This appearance is designed to make the stadium one of Hanoi's new architectural symbols.

The arena will be the central part of the giant Olympic Sports Village mega-project. Within the framework of the project, a new residential and sports area, shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, a hospital and transport infrastructure are planned to be created, where up to 750 thousand residents are planned to live. In addition, an aquatic sports center and a cyber sports facility will be built.
The investment is reported to be worth more than $35 billion. The stadium is scheduled to be completed in August 2028, and the entire mega-project in 2035.
