Rustam Afsarli, Media Coordinator of Neftchi, also confirmed this in a statement to our website:
"Qarabağ made such an offer, but we refused it. Because our team has goals, the season is coming to an end, we are entering a crucial stage. A preparation plan has been developed in accordance with these goals. Changing the time or place of any match can negatively affect the plans. Therefore, we thought that postponing the game was not appropriate. It is best to play the match in the week scheduled in the calendar."
