London's "West Ham United" club is planning to sell a significant number of players if they fail to retain their place in the English Premier League at the end of the 2025/26 season.
İdman.Biz reports this with reference to "The Guardian".
According to the source, the club will have to sell players worth approximately £100 million (€115 million) to ensure financial stability and comply with Financial Fair Play rules.
"West Ham" is currently 18th in the Premier League table with 36 points, two points behind 17th-placed "Tottenham Hotspur". They have one game left until the end of the season, while "Tottenham" has two games. If "Tottenham" beats "Chelsea", "West Ham" could be relegated to the Championship early.
