Former Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney has called the appointment of his former teammate Michael Carrick as head coach of the "Red Devils" the right choice. Sport24.az reports that the 40-year-old veteran footballer spoke about this to BBC Sport.
"Maybe this appointment is an obvious choice. Because there are no high-level coaches available right now. Of course, this is a difficult task. Manchester United's current situation is not good and Michael needs to fix the situation in the team," Rooney said.
