Former England national team and Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney has revealed the name of the best coach of all time.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to foreign media that he spoke about this in his statement to the BBC.
Rooney commented on the comparison between Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola:
"Ferguson is the greatest coach of all time. But Pep is the best of his generation, and he does it by a large margin. People talk about Guardiola being loyal to his club for 10 years, which is incredible. But Ferguson worked at Manchester United for 26 years. Spending 26 years at one club is an amazing achievement.
When Sir Alex came to Manchester United, the situation was completely different. He rebuilt the club almost from scratch, turning it back into a force in English football. Pep didn't need to do that. But his achievements in terms of complete dominance are undeniable."
