"Neftchi" has officially announced the transfer of Cameroonian national team striker Vincent Aboubakar.
According to Lent.az, a 1+1 year contract has been signed with the football player.
Aboubakar, whose last club was "Hatayspor", has also played in the leagues of France, Portugal, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, besides his homeland. He won the Portuguese Championship (2018, 2020), Cup (2020) and Super Cup (2018) with "Porto", and the Turkish Championship (2017, 2021), Cup (2021, 2024) and Super Cup (2024) with "Beşiktaş".
The captain of the Cameroonian national team has played 115 matches for the team and scored 45 goals. Aboubakar won the African Cup with the national team in 2017, and in 2022 he was the top scorer of the African Nations League with 8 goals.
