Turkish club "Bursaspor" is closely monitoring the situation of "Neftchi's" Cameroonian striker, Vincent Aboubakar.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to "Africafoot".
According to reports, the club, which has been promoted to the Turkish second division, is showing particular interest in the Cameroonian striker, whose contract with "Neftchi" will expire at the end of the season.
"The Azerbaijani club is not expected to exercise its option to extend the contract, as the former captain of the "Indomitable Lions" is not in the plans of the new coach Yuri Vernidub. As we reported earlier, Aboubakar, who arrived at the club in October 2025, is therefore preparing to leave Baku in a few months.
Aboubakar will be a free agent at the end of the season and can move to any club he wants without a free transfer. His entourage prefers to stay in Europe, and the possibility of returning to Turkey is very high. "Bursaspor", who want to move up, is among the possible options, although the Turkish club is interested in him for more than just attacking power," the article notes.
Transfermarkt currently values the Cameroonian's market value at 700,000 euros.
