Former Azerbaijani national football player Vidadi Rzayev commented on the matches held in the 17th round of the Misli Premier League.
Speaking to AZERTAC about this, the expert called Shamakhi's defeat to Gabala unexpected:
"Shamakhi's 0:4 loss was a surprise to me. Another surprising result was Kapaz's away victory over Qarabag. It was expected that Gurban Gurbanov would make changes in the squad after a tough match with Aynraxt. However, the second squad that came out did not live up to the head coach's expectations. Because there are members of the national team among them. I don't want to overshadow Kapaz's victory. I expect the Ganja representative to stay in the league. The most difficult situation is with the Karvan-Yevlakh team, which is in the last place with 6 points."
The 58-year-old expert stated that it is gratifying that the fight for the championship is between two teams:
"Sabah is already challenging the Aghdam club in the league. They are in very good shape. I wish five or six teams would compete for the championship."
It should be noted that Sabah leads the Misli Premier League with 40 points. Qarabag is in second place with 36 points.
