"Sabah" head coach Valdas Dambrauskas shared his thoughts after the 1:2 defeat against "Neftçi" in the 32nd round of the Misli Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that the Lithuanian specialist stated that the team was both emotionally and physically tired after the cup victory.
"I think that after winning the cup, we spent a lot of emotional and physical energy. After that, it was difficult to concentrate on the game. Nevertheless, I thank my team for this match. We gave a chance to players who play less and they showed themselves in a good light," said Dambrauskas.
The head coach also emphasized that the opponent is currently in very good shape:
"We were facing a team that is in very good shape. There were almost equally strong teams on the field. We made a mistake and conceded a goal. We were not able to take advantage of the opponent's mistakes. Today we want to celebrate our championship".
