The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has decided to ban Petr Vlahovski, the former coach of the Czech women's club "Slovatsko," for life from football.
Idman.Biz reports that Vlahovski secretly filmed female players in the team's showers and dressing rooms with a hidden camera from 2019 to 2023. He used a miniature device hidden in his bag to record the videos.
In addition to the ban, Vlahovski has been stripped of his coaching license and given a suspended prison sentence. The court also ordered him to pay 940 euros in compensation to each affected player. The investigation revealed that 15 players were harmed by the coach's actions, the youngest of whom was 17 years old at the time of the offense.
Vlahovski was previously considered a promising manager in Czech women's football and led "Slovatsko" to the UEFA Champions League.
