The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced its financial results for the past year.
Idman.Biz reports that the organization has achieved record revenue from men's club competitions.
"Overall revenue from men's club competitions has increased by 690 million euros compared to the 2023/2024 target, reaching 4.4 billion euros. This increase has led to increased reinvestment, with financial payments to clubs reaching 4.4 billion euros - 400 million euros more than the previous season.
We have also reaffirmed our commitment to the game by allocating 10% of our total competition revenue to solidarity payments. Of this amount, 308 million euros are allocated to clubs that do not participate in European competitions - a 76% increase compared to the previous year - with additional funding distributed to clubs that stop competing in the qualifying rounds. A further 25 million euros will be used to support the UEFA Youth League and women's club competitions," UEFA's official website states.
