Turkey U-21 national team coach Egemen Korkmaz was hospitalized in serious condition during the UEFA European U-21 Championship qualifying match against Croatia.

Korkmaz slipped and fell while protesting the referee's decision to send off a Turkish national team player. He hit his head on the ground when he fell and lost consciousness. Korkmaz was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The coach lost consciousness again on the way to the hospital.
According to media reports, Korkmaz has already regained consciousness and his life is not in danger. The new date of the match will be announced later.
