Due to problems with the grass cover of the Tovuz city stadium, the Professional Football League had allowed "Turan Tovuz" to temporarily hold its home games at the "Azersun Arena". Sport24.az reports that the club's return to the Tovuz city stadium was planned for the 25th round of the Misli Premier League, subject to a preliminary test match.
According to recent analyses, expert opinions, and the club's official appeal, it has been determined that the stadium can be ready for the game no earlier than mid-April.
Due to the closure of the "Azersun Arena", where "Turan Tovuz" temporarily plays (it was officially announced in advance that "Turan Tovuz" would only use this stadium in February), an appeal was made to the Professional Football League regarding the organization of the mentioned round game, as well as the home match to be held within the framework of the Bizon Azerbaijan Cup semi-final stage, at the Sumgayit city stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzade. Taking into account the current situation in the Tovuz city stadium, the club's appeal, as well as the consent letter of the "Sumgayit" club, the Professional Football League decided that the "Turan Tovuz" club will hold the 25th round match of the Misli Premier League and the home game in the semi-final stage of the Bizon Azerbaijan Cup at the Sumgayit city stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzade.
After the mentioned matches, the general condition of the Tovuz city stadium will be re-evaluated, and an additional decision will be made regarding whether the team's home games will be held at the Tovuz city stadium from the 26th round onwards.
