The unsanitary conditions in stadiums after matches remain one of the pressing issues for Azerbaijani football. Following the "Turan Tovuz" - "Karvan-Yevlax" match within the 31st round of the Misli Premier League, images of sunflower seed shells, plastic bottles, and other waste in the stands of the Tovuz city stadium were spread on social networks.
The press service of "Turan Tovuz" stated in response to İdman.Biz's inquiry that the club is constantly conducting educational work in this direction.
"At least twice in each game, relevant announcements are made by the announcer, and at the same time, a video about the rules of conduct is shown on the stadium's monitor. Of course, it is impossible to keep everyone under control. The exemplary behavior of our fans has always been highly appreciated. In addition, they are distinguished by their loyalty and great support to the team in both home and away games. Unfortunately, such cases occur all over the world. At least 3500-4000 spectators attend each of our games. Therefore, we will further strengthen educational work," the club told our website.
Against this background, Japanese football fans, known for cleaning the stands together after games, come to mind. Perhaps such an example could be a model for Azerbaijani fans as well.
