"Khankendi" will play for the championship in the Azerbaijan II League this season.

The experienced football player evaluated their first game in the national championship against "Dinamo": "I congratulate our team. We won a historic victory. We started the first half well, but we couldn't make much use of the goal opportunities. It's normal because it's our first game. Because some of our players are not playing for certain reasons. I am happy to have scored in the first game. I hope it will continue and we will play for the championship. We approach all opponents the same way. In general, opponents always come to the field with different enthusiasm against teams playing for the championship. I witnessed this last year as well. We must be prepared for this, we must work with all our might for every game. Even though we had difficulties, we became champions. Our road is long, I hope we will celebrate the championship this year as well."
It should be noted that "Khankendi" defeated "Dinamo" 4:0 in the first round of the national championship. T. Qurbatov scored in the 76th minute.
