US President Donald Trump has expressed his dissatisfaction to Boston Mayor Michelle Wu regarding the riots ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by "The Guardian".
"Your mayor is no good. I think she's hurting Boston. If someone does something bad and I feel the situation is dangerous, I'll call FIFA boss Gianni (Infantino) and say, 'let's move it somewhere else.' And he will do it. Now is the perfect time to do it."
It should be noted that earlier this month, pro-Palestinian supporters held a protest in Boston, and 4 police officers were injured in these events.
Boston is one of the cities that will host the 2026 World Cup, and seven games of the World Cup will be held at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
