Tabriz's "Traktor" team has become the champion of the Iranian Pro League ahead of schedule.
"Report" informs that the "golden wolves" confidently defeated Qazvin's "Shams Azar" team 4:0 in the match of the 28th round.
The game was held on Thursday at the "Sardar Azadegan" stadium in Qazvin. The game was under the complete control of the guests from the first minutes. Croatian striker Domagoj Drožđek opened the scoring in the very first minute. Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh doubled the lead in the 8th minute, and Drožđek scored a double in the 30th minute, bringing the score to 3:0 before the break.
In the second half, after the expulsion of Shams Azar defender Homan Rabizadeh, Traktor won the right to a penalty. Ricardo Alves, who took the 11-meter penalty, sent the ball into the net, setting the final score in the game: "Shams Azar" - 0, "Traktor" - 4:0.
The victory secured the championship for "Traktor" with two rounds remaining before the end of the season.
