"Trabzonspor" has completed its preparation process before the match against "Fethiyespor" in the Turkish Cup today. Due to injuries, Stefan Savic in defense, and Edin Visca and Oleksandr Zubkov in midfield will not be able to play in this match. Sport24.az reports that the "bordo-maviler" returned to Trabzon after a 1:1 draw against "Antalyaspor" in the Super League and immediately started training, fully focusing on today's cup match.
The technical staff, taking into account the physical condition of the players, planned the training program in two groups. Players who played in the match against "Antalyaspor" were limited to recovery-oriented regeneration training. Players who played little or did not appear on the field at all worked on a more intensive program.
It is reported that head coach Faith Tekke may make rotations in some positions in today's match, and the last trainings played a decisive role in the formation of the game squad.
It should be noted that "Trabzonspor" lost to "Alanyaspor" 0:1 in the first round of Group A of the Turkish Cup, and defeated "Istanbulspor" 6:1 in the second game. The "bordo-maviler" are currently in third place in Group A with three points and aim to maintain their chances of qualifying from the group by winning against "Fethiyespor".
