Italian football legend Francesco Totti spoke about Luciano Spalletti, one of the main candidates for the position of head coach of Juventus. Sport24.az reports that Italian coach Luciano Spalletti may sign a contract with Juventus until the end of the 2025/26 season, and there is a possibility of extending the contract. It is not yet known whether the contract extension will last one or two years.
However, the 66-year-old specialist is already inclined to accept both options.
"I know he is one of the candidates for this position. I think Luciano will be an excellent transfer for Juventus. Luciano is a strong, loyal coach and tries to succeed wherever he is. Juventus will make an excellent deal by transferring him," Calciomercato quoted Totti as saying.
Spalletti previously coached Roma, Inter, Napoli and the Italian national team.
On October 27, Juventus announced the resignation of head coach Igor Tudor, who has been with the club since March 2025.
Juventus have collected 12 points from eight games in Serie A this season and are eighth in the league table.
