Italian club "Torino" has announced the dismissal of head coach Marko Baroni.
Idman.Biz reports that the club has appointed Roberto D'Aversa in his place. The 50-year-old specialist previously coached Empoli, Lecce, Sampdoria and Parma. D'Aversa has signed a contract with the club until June 30, 2026.
After 26 matches, "Torino" is in 15th place in Serie A with 27 points. The team has won only one of its last eight games in the Italian league, a 1-0 victory over Lecce.
In the next 27th round, "Torino" will face Roma's "Lazio". After 26 matches, "Inter" leads the Serie A standings with 64 points.
