Lent.az, citing foreign media, reports that on the night of October 2, Thomas Müller became the champion of Canada after Vancouver Whitecaps' victory over Vancouver (4:2) in the tournament final.
In the first half, Müller accurately converted a penalty and provided a productive assist. He was substituted in the 79th minute.
In the spring of 2025, Müller equaled Toni Kroos for the most titles (34), and now he has surpassed him, setting a new record. Kroos finished his career in 2024.
After a long career with Bayern, the 36-year-old Müller joined the Canadian club in August, signing a contract until the end of the 2025/26 season.
During his football career, the player has won the Bundesliga 13 times, making him the record holder for the tournament. He has also won the German Super Cup (8), the German Cup (6), the Champions League (2), the FIFA Club World Cup (2), and the UEFA Super Cup (2).
