D category coaching courses, jointly organized by AFFA and Baku Football Federation at Bayil Stadium, continue. Sport24.az reports that the second day of the course was marked by theoretical and practical sessions.
Ilham Azizadeh, the instructor of AFFA coaching courses, and Farrukh Ismayilov, the head of the AFFA Mass Football Department, made extensive presentations to the participants on "Basic Principles in Mass Football", "Training Methods", "Coach Behaviors", as well as pedagogical approach when working with children and adolescents, planning the training process and stages of player development.
During the sessions, the application of modern training methodology, the construction of training models appropriate to age groups, safety rules and motivation methods were explained based on practical examples. Analyses were carried out on real game situations by the instructors, interactive discussions were organized with the participants and exchange of ideas was carried out from different perspectives.
In the practical part, special emphasis was placed on the preparation of a training plan, proper positioning on the field, explanation of tasks and the coach's communication skills. The participants were able to apply their theoretical knowledge on the field by performing tasks in groups.
