The nominal home team of the Azerbaijan Cup final match has been determined.
"Report" reports, citing the press service of the Professional Football League (PFL), that a draw was held today in this regard.
Representatives of the PFL, "Qarabağ" and "Sabah" clubs participated in the event. The PFL was represented by Elchin Mehtiyev, Head of the Department of Organization and Registration of Competitions, "Qarabağ" by manager Farid Agayev, and "Sabah" by Executive Director Parvin Piriyev.
According to the draw, "Qarabağ" became the nominal home team.
After the draw, an extensive meeting was held between club representatives and the PFL. The meeting was also attended by Elgiz Abbasov, Technical and Sports Director of the organization, and Sanan Abdullayev, Media and Marketing Director. Initial organizational issues related to the final, and nuances to be taken into account were discussed.
It should be noted that the final game of the Azerbaijan Cup will be held on May 31 at the Sumgayit city stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzade. The match will start at 19:00.
