The amount of funds allocated for the development of football in Azerbaijan has been announced. Sport24.az reports that this was stated in the AFFA report.
As in the 2023/2024 season, the funds allocated in the 2024/2025 season amounted to 39 million manats.
In both seasons, a total of 30 million manats were given to representatives of the Premier League (10 clubs). A total of 3 million manats were paid to I League clubs (15 in the previous season, currently 10 clubs), and 3 million manats were paid for the maintenance of national teams.
The costs of holding the Regional League and Regional League games, and the VAR project costs were equal to 1 million manats in both seasons. In the current season, 700 thousand manats were given to 14 clubs in the II League in total. 300 thousand manats were spent on the education of the Manager and Coach corps (under AFFA).
