Ter Stegen will play on loan at Girona until the end of the season

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is moving to Girona on loan.

According to Idman.Biz, citing Fabrizio Romano, the clubs have reached a verbal agreement for a loan deal for the German goalkeeper until the end of the current season. Ter Stegen has previously agreed to the transfer.

The transfer is expected to be formalized this week.

Ter Stegen has played one game this season - against Guadalajara (2:0) in the Copa del Rey.
