He stated that beating a strong team like "Benfica" is a great feeling: "I congratulate all our people. This success was achieved thanks to the unity in the club. "Benfica" had not lost for the last 9 games. We managed to overcome them."
It should be noted that "Qarabag" fell behind 0:2 in the match in Portugal, but scored three goals and won a stubborn victory – 3:2. This was the first victory of Azerbaijani clubs in the main stages of the Champions League.
The Aghdam representative will hold its next League match on October 1 in Baku against the Danish team "Copenhagen".
