"Sumgayit"'s footballer Ronaldo Vasquez has been called up to the Dominican Republic national team. Sport24.az reports that the midfielder has been invited to the matches to be held in June.
The Dominican Republic will play two matches in the World Cup qualifying round. Ronaldo's team will face Guatemala and Dominica on June 7 and 11, respectively.
Marcelo Neveleff's team will then participate in the "CONCACAF Gold Cup" tournament with the participation of North and Central American countries. The Dominican Republic, which is in Group A, will face Mexico on June 15, Costa Rica on June 19, and Suriname on June 23.
