"Sumgayit" footballer Cedric Badolo received an invitation from the Burkina Faso national team. The player announced this in an interview with Sport24.az after the XXV round match of the Misli Premier League against "Sabah" (1:3). He said that despite the invitation, he refused to go to the national team camp:
"I received an invitation from the national team. But I decided not to go. I will stay here and train. My goal is to prepare and accelerate my adaptation."
It should be noted that Badolo has been playing for "Sumgayit" since December last year. He has played in 6 matches in the championship.
