According to the source, the Roman club is looking for a striker who can meet the requirements of head coach Gennaro Gattuso. The "Eagles" are considering two options - Icardi, who is a free agent, and Andrea Pinamonti from "Sassuolo".
"Lazio" representatives are in daily contact with Icardi. The 33-year-old striker had previously rejected an offer from "Olympiacos". It is also reported that an unnamed Mexican club is interested in him.
