Changes have taken place in the squad of the Azerbaijan national team. Sport24.az reports with reference to the official website of AFFA that midfielders Khayal Aliyev and Shahin Shahniyarov have joined our U-21 team.
Instead of them, Rustam Ahmadzadeh ("Sumgayit") and Abdulla Khaybulayev ("Sabah") have been called up to the A national team.
It should be noted that on September 9, the A national team will face Ukraine in the qualifying round of the WC-2026, and the U-21 will face the Bulgarian national team in the qualifying round of the European Championship.
