"Southampton" intends to appeal the English Football League's (EFL) decision to remove the team from the Championship play-off final for promotion to the Premier League due to the unauthorized filming of "Middlesbrough's" training session.

According to the source, "Southampton" considers the decision unfair and is considering all legal appeal options.
In addition to being removed from the Championship play-off, "Southampton" will be deducted four points from next season's competitions.
It was previously reported that a "Southampton" analyst was caught filming "Middlesbrough's" tactics and training before the teams' first play-off match. "Southampton" then defeated "Middlesbrough" 2-1 on aggregate to advance to the final. The team was due to play "Hull" on Saturday, May 23 to be promoted to the Premier League.
