Siyasat Asgarov: Victory was important for the motivation of the Azerbaijani women's national team

Winning was of great importance to increase the motivation of the Azerbaijani national team consisting of women.

Idman.Biz reports that the head coach of the team, Siyasat Asgarov, said this in a statement to the AFFA press service.

The specialist commented on the victory over the home team in the second consecutive test match of the team that held training camp in Kazakhstan:

"The games with the Kazakhstan national team were very important for us. Because we didn't finish our last matches on such a good note. For this reason, winning was of great importance to increase the motivation of the players. We are happy that we were able to do this in both meetings. We could have won with a bigger difference in the first match. Apparently, the opponent analyzed us very well after that game. We faced difficulties today. In my opinion, the fact that our players could not fully recover for the second game also played a role. Still, the girls showed character, fought to the end and scored the winning goal. I thank our team for this."

At the end, S. Asgarov thanked the Kazakhstan Football Federation for the created conditions and emphasized that the place allocated for the training camp was beautiful.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team won the first test match against the Kazakhstan national team with a score of 2:1.
