"Shakhtar" will not play in the UEFA Champions League for the first time since the 1999/2000 season.
According to "Report", this was determined after Dynamo Kyiv's victory (4:0) over Inhulets in the XXVII round of the Ukrainian Premier League.
After this match, it was confirmed that the Miners will not participate in the prestigious tournament next season. Only the national champion team will represent Ukraine in the UEFA Champions League.
It should be noted that "Shakhtar" with 57 points is currently in third place in the Ukrainian Premier League. The 15-time Ukrainian champion became the winner of the UEFA Cup in 2009. In 2011, they reached the 1/4 finals of the Champions League.
