Sergio Romero retires from football career

Former Manchester United and Argentina national team goalkeeper Sergio Romero has ended his active football career. Sport24.az reports that Romero, as the goalkeeper of the "Red Devils", played a key role in his team's victories in the Europa League, FA Cup, League Cup and Super Cup.

 

Romero has played 96 matches for the Argentina national team.

 

Sergio's last club was Argentinos Juniors. During his career, he also guarded the goal of Racing, AZ Alkmaar, Sampdoria, Monaco, Venezia, and Boca Juniors.
