Former defender of the Spanish football team "Sevilla," Sergio Ramos, has become the owner of the club. Sport24.az reports that, according to COPE radio, the former Spanish footballer's brother, Rene, led the entire process, and the sale has been agreed upon.
The value of the deal is estimated at 450 million euros (900 million AZN).
An official announcement and formal procedures with lawyers remain.
It is reported that Ramos is carrying out this process not alone, but together with an investment group.
It should be noted that 40-year-old Ramos began his professional career precisely at "Sevilla." He moved to Real Madrid in 2005 and wore the jersey of his native club again in the 2023/24 season.
