Score announced in Azerbaijan - France match: France increases the score

Today, our national team will play its last match within the qualifying round of DÇ-2026. Sport24.az reports that the team led by Aykhan Abbasov will face France in the 6th round.

The starting whistle of the match, which will be held at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium, will sound at 21:00.

Both teams will enter the field with losses. Elvin Jafarquliyev and Toral Bayramov will not be in our national team, while the guests came to Baku without their main star Kilian Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga and Manu Kone. 

The match between these teams in Paris ended with a 3:0 victory for the French.

It should be noted that France is the leader of Group D with 13 points and has already secured a ticket to the World Cup. Iceland and Ukraine share 2-3 places with 7 points. Our national team is the last in the group with 1 point, and it is known that regardless of the result of this match, it will finish the qualifying round in 4th place.
