It should be noted that the "School Girls" tournament is a pilot project designed for girls aged 7-9. Initially, it is planned to hold the project in 2 regions this season - in 20 selected state and private schools in Baku and in 10 schools in Lankaran. The main goal of organizing the tournament is to create interest in football among girls from an early age by creating the AFFA U-10 Girls League next season and to attract new football players to the national teams in the lower age group in the future.
