"Shaki", competing in the Second League, entered the match against "Agstafa Gencleri" held within the framework of the XXVII round with 9 players. Sport24.az, referring to the club's press service, reports that several players of the team refused to appear in the last round of the season.
According to the source, the players received their salaries for the games they played in the second round and for all months until May. Currently, they have played only two games in May, and there are no official salary delays.
However, some players put forward unfounded claims such as "it's the last game, payment may not be made, let it be paid in advance" and refused to play the team's last game.
During the investigation conducted within the club, it was determined that Rasul Ibrahimov, the captain of "Shaki", contacted the players and called for them not to participate in the game, preventing several players from coming to the match.
It should be noted that the management of "Shaki" assesses the events as behavior that contradicts professional football principles and internal disciplinary rules, and warned the players in advance that appropriate legal steps would be taken.
