Saudi Arabian clubs are considering tripling Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah's salary to lure him to the Pro League.
According to Idman.Biz, citing Mirror, if the 33-year-old Egyptian accepts the offer, his salary will increase to £1.2 million (€1.38 million) per week.
Saudi Arabian clubs see Salah as a potential star player in the league, especially given the potential departure of Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
Liverpool may be ready to part ways with Salah, as this would significantly reduce their wage bill. In addition, the Merseyside club is expecting a large fee for the winger and want to complete the deal before the 2026 World Cup.
It is worth recalling that Ronaldo is boycotting Al-Nasr games due to dissatisfaction with the club's management by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) compared to its rivals. The 41-year-old Portuguese has already missed two of his team's matches. According to media reports, he may move to MLS or return to Europe this summer.
Mohamed Salah has been playing for Liverpool since 2017. In the 2025/2026 season, he scored six goals and provided six assists in 25 games in all competitions. Salah's contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027. According to Capology, his salary under this contract is £400,000 per week (£460,000 before tax). Transfermarkt values Salah at €30 million.
