The Azerbaijan national beach soccer team is one of the favorites of the European Championship.
This was stated by the team's head coach, Sahib Mammadov.
He spoke about the team's upcoming goals and opponents.
"Our group is not yet known. However, looking at the opponents in Division B, on paper we are one of the best. The competition will be held in Georgia. There are also teams like England and Kazakhstan there. But I think we will prepare better and fight for Division A and the championship. The opponents are 'to our liking'," he said in an interview with report.az.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan national team will compete in Division B of the European Championship. 8 teams will compete in the tournament - Georgia, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Malta, England and Norway.
