The "Sabah" football team has identified its new potential opponents ahead of its debut in the UEFA Champions League.
Idman.Biz reports that the Baku representative, the winner of the Misli Premier League 2025/2026 season, will start the fight in the continent's most prestigious club tournament from the first qualifying round. "Sabah" will be among the unseeded teams in the draw with odds of 6,000.
Two more teams have joined the list of possible opponents of the Azerbaijani champion. The Romanian "Universitatea Craiova" and the Moldovan "Petrocub" football teams are in the seeded list. Thus, the total number of known potential opponents of "Sabah" has increased to 13 according to the general seeded list.
In the first round, the identity of only one seeded participant has not been fully determined. This place will depend on the odds situation between the Welsh TNS team and the Armenian champion. TNS is shown with odds of 9,000, and the Armenian champion is shown in the range of 7,000-10,750.

Among the unseeded teams are "Inter Escaldes" (Andorra), "Levski" (Bulgaria), "Sabah" (Azerbaijan), "Kauno Žalgiris" (Lithuania), "ETO Győr" (Hungary), "Iberia 1999" (Georgia), "Floriana" (Malta), "Tre Fiori" (San Marino), "Vardar" (North Macedonia), "ML Vitebsk" (Belarus), as well as the champions of Albania, Luxembourg and Montenegro.
It should be noted that the draw for the first qualifying round of the Champions League will take place on June 16. The first matches of this round will be held on July 7-8, and the return matches will be held on July 14-15.
