The veteran football player, who currently works in children's football, shared his thoughts about the match in the first round of the UEFA Youth League, in which "Qarabag" U-19 team lost 1:7 to the Portuguese representative "Benfica" on the road:
"Does a 19-year-old football player play in the Premier League in our country? It was a painful defeat. Head coach Rashad Sadiqov is my dear, my brother. We would like them to play well, fight, and achieve results. If you play against a high-level team, you have to run more than them, fight. The kids did their best. If they play with Benfica a second time, this kind of score will not be recorded. Maybe the football players couldn't tune in to the game well that day. The excitement of the Champions League and the player's first appearance in such a match may have played a role. Sometimes, when you prepare the team for the game, the desire is so great that you "burn" yourself. If there are 2-3 strong clubs in the U-19 championship now, one of them is "Qarabag"."
