The 11th round of the Croatian championship is underway. Sport24.az reports that "Varazdin", where our compatriot Rufat Abdullazade plays, hosted "Slaven Belupo" at its home ground.
The match ended with a 1:3 defeat for Rufat's team.
Abdullazade also participated in this match. Rufat, who started the match from the bench, entered the field in the 16th minute to replace the injured Aleksa Latkovic, and was replaced by Damogaj Begonja in the 75th minute.
Abdullazade provided an assist in the 35th minute. Luka Mamic scored his team's only goal of the match after a pass from the Azerbaijani football player.
After the 1:3 defeat, "Varazdin", remaining with 15 points, dropped to fifth place in the standings. "Slaven Belupo", on the other hand, rose to fourth place with 16 points.
