Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo did not attend his team's awards ceremony after losing 1-0 to Japan's Gamba Osaka in the Asian Champions League-2 final held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Idman.Biz reports that after the final whistle, Al-Nassr players and coaching staff were awarded silver medals. Cristiano Ronaldo did not participate in the ceremony. The captain left the field before the ceremony began.
The missed cup was the 14th out of 14 possible cups for Ronaldo since moving to Saudi Arabia. The 2025/26 Saudi Pro League season will end on Thursday, May 21. Al-Nassr is in first place in the tournament table, two points ahead of Al-Hilal with one game remaining.
