Roberto Mancini has agreed to become the head coach of Qatar's Al-Sadd club.
Idman.Biz reports that insider Fabrizio Romano announced this on his social media account.
According to him, the contract will have a clause allowing the specialist to leave the team in the summer of 2026. This condition was of fundamental importance for Mancini, and the parties reached an agreement.
It is expected that the Italian specialist will sign the contract after all the paperwork is completed. The 59-year-old head coach's last job was with the Saudi Arabian national team.
During his coaching career, he led Lazio, Inter, Manchester City, Galatasaray, and Zenit in the 2017/2018 season. While in charge of the Italian national team, he won the European Championship (2020).
