Former "Bayer" and Brazil national team midfielder Renato Augusto has announced the end of his professional career. Sport24.az reports that the 37-year-old footballer shared about this on his social media account.
The experienced player's last club was "Fluminense", where he played since 2021. He also played for "Corinthians", Chinese representative "Beijing Guoan" and "Flamengo".
It should be noted that Augusto played 33 matches for the Brazilian national team and scored 6 goals. The footballer, who won the Brazilian championship and the "Golden Ball" in 2006 and 2015, also won a gold medal at the Olympic Games held in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
